 Defense officials, industry representatives, lawmakers, and NGAUS members will gather for the 130th NGAUS General Conference. The conference is the perfect forum for the association and its members to determine crucial Guard issues and plot the association's course for the next year.
While offering professional development opportunities for Guard officers, the conference also deeply reflects the Guard's diverse militia characteristics that start locally but often impact events around the world.

MANY NGAUS registration Form
April 25-27, 2008
The Military Association of New York (MANY) will be hosting
its 154th State conference at the Sagamore Hotel on 25 April – 27 April 2008. The Division of Military and Naval Affairs
will be sponsoring various meetings on Friday and Saturday. MANY will be hosting an informal social at
the convention center late Friday afternoon. Several corporate sponsors and
vendors will have displays setup throughout the conference center. The TAG’s
Professional Development day on Saturday is shaping up to be an informative
series of briefings and panel discussions on Homeland Security and Military
Support to Civilian Authorities. Top leaders from National Guard Bureau,
NORTHCOM, National Guard Association and New York State Government Offices are
expected to be in attendance. The National Guard Child and Youth Program is sponsoring
events for children on Saturday to include activities Saturday night. Our
intent is for the whole Family to experience the weekend at the Sagamore.
Saturday will conclude with a formal dinner at the Hotel.
The dinner will feature a special guest speaker. Sunday morning will be the
MANY business portion of the weekend. You are encouraged to attend the business
meeting to see what your association is doing. Updates on legislative
initiatives, finances, membership are all covered here. The business meeting is the real essence of
what we do as we constantly seek to increase resources and improve the quality
of life for our State military. This session usually ends about mid morning and
that concludes the conference. There
